This park is located just off 470. We enjoyed the picnic area and pool. They also have a BMX track and Community Center in the park. The neighborhood around park was good.The staff at pool was very nice and helpful. Parking was ok. Free lot.

Sitting in the stands and your pant legs blow as the cars go down the 1/4 mile track. Bring ear plugs.

If you think it sucks living in the Wheat State, you need to visit the NHRA Summer Nationals in Topeka next year. It happens every year the week before Memorial weekend. It is the loudest, most exhilerating event I have ever attended. The big boys go over 300 mph in a quarter mile. You can go down into the Pits...
