We did the Village Sampler tour on Thursday and then on Friday the Brooklyn Bridge tour with Max. Both tours were very entertaining and very informative. Max is a relaxed guide with extended knowledge of the city and its history. A walking tour is a really good way of seeing the city and learning about its history and its people.... More

My husband and I truly enjoyed our Central Park walking tour with Max. We covered a lot of ground and Max kept us entertained with interesting facts the entire time. His enthusiasm for New York is obvious too. He is a great advertisement. He was careful not to lose anyone and kept up a reasonable pace that worked for everyone.... More

A tour with Max feels as if I'm visiting with a friend who's showing me around his neighborhood - it's a conversation, not a lecture, and he shares obscure and facinating details and oddities. I recently went on the newest CityRovers tour, The City of Dreams, and totally enjoyed the experience, as I knew I would.

This is the second tour with Max that we did and again, I learned so much and had a great time. Hard to believe that we actually walked 5 miles, but when you are giving so much amazing facts and history along the way from Max, it makes the tour so enjoyable. I've lived on Long Island all my life... More

This was our second time doing a tour with Max and we absolutely loved it (again). The first tour we did (the village sampler) was the best part of our trip last year so it was obvious to us that we will go on another one with Max. This time we chose the Brooklyn Bridge tour. Both tours have felt... More

I was in from Arizona by myself, and wanted to explore some sights and learn some history. I was really happy to be able to go on tours with such a nice, considerate guide. Max is really quite nice, and also very smart. He is down to earth yet professional, and really made my trip to NYC great! He also... More

My wife and I traveled from Australia to spend our honeymoon in New York and we enjoyed Max's Brooklyn Bridge tour so much that we signed up for the Chelsea, Meatpacking District, East Village tour which was excellent. Max is a very interesting and knowledgeable tour guide and his tours offer great value for money. We highly recommend Max's tours.

We recently visited NYC and, on the back of overwhelmingly positive reviews, we booked a couple of walking tours with City Rover. It's a great introduction to this fabulous city. Danielle escorted us through the Village on a cold and blustery Monday morning, in a small group of just six. Her knowledge of the locale, and informative commentary made this... More

My friend and I booked this tour based on the recommendation of my nephew and his wife, who took it last May. We couldn't have asked for better: a lovely day with Max, who loves Central Park, and it shows. The bottled water, oranges and mini-waffles were a treat, too. If we ever get back to NYC, we'll book City... More

A year after going over Brooklyn bridge and through Central Park with Max we returned to Manhattan and took "The City of Dreams - Discover East Village, Little Italy, and SoHo". With four stops for food/drink including NY's incomparable McSorleys bar Max's enthusiasm for his city shines through with his full range of acting skills bringing each venue and story... More
