Waited 45 min just to be told no space and to wait more just to get on the list. This place will treat you terribly!

We called in on the off chance, without reservations and were treated so rudely by the receptionist that we were left speechless! She needs to be trained in customer service! Can't comment on the food, as we were turned away, but suspect the whole place has ideas above its station if she's anything to go by! Visit Le Pain Quotidien...

We had Sunday brunch at the boathouse and it was great! First of all, the location is beautiful, with an open veranda overlooking the lake and the rowboats. Secondly, the food was very good. The crab cake appetizer was amongst the best crab cake I had ever had. We did not have reservations, so we made sure to get there...

I can't believe I haven't written a review before now. I've been three times over the last few years, and I live in Arizona! My most recent visit was a special dinner with my wife during a long weekend in NYC. We made reservations, but arrived early so we sat at the bar for about 15 minutes. Bar tender was...

My two best friends and I came to NYC for my 30th birthday. I had always dreamed of eating at the Central Park Boathouse. On April 4, 2013, that dream came true. It was amazing! We ordered the apricot chicken roulade and the steak frites (cooked medium). They were both delicious...but the steak was the best I'd ever had! I...

I've wanted to have a meal at this iconic restaurant which has starred in so many New York movies that having six days in the city with two girilfriends made it a must.
I was concerned it would be outrageously expensive but it was actually more reasonable than many fancy lunches in Sydney or Melbourne, coming it at $211 plus...

Definitely a highlight of our New York trip. You can walk to it easily from the south border of the park. We went for coffee and cake at the cafe part. Go before lucnh and you can get the view of the lake without the restaurant people being in front of you. Prices were normal in the cafe part.
Some here complain about the prices... you came to the wrong place. This is a wonderful spot, in the midst of one of the worlds greatest cities. In a park, at a little lake. Peaceful, stylish, authentic. Its a little trip, an adventure being here.
They should have menu´s without prices. It doesn´t matter. If they would make me pay...

Booked through open table and asked for a lunchtime table for 2 by the window. Arrived early and one of the first to be seated asked for a window seat, told only parties of 4 or more allowed a window seat however other couples were seated by window. Anyway the girls showing individuals to tables and confirming bookings were extremely...

I made reservations through Open Table and asked for a lakeside window seat...which they honored! The food was fabulous...crab cakes! But for lunch just get the appetizer portion. They are large. Lunch is best...for the scenery!! And wAlk through Central Park to get there!!
