The guided National Park Services tour is amazing. Ask for Brian! He is so knowledgable, knows the faculty and students of Central High and the Little Rock 9! He truly cares and really inspires the students to make a difference.

What an interesting visit we had, we visited as part of our road trip and are so glad we did. We had read a bit about the museum before we came, but there is nothing like being there and reading/listening to the audio that is available. This was quite an eye opener for us and makes you appreciate how easy... More

Very eerie to see the building in person after seeing in black and white on TV. Surrounding neighborhood has certainly declined.

The Central High School building itself is worth seeing--just to take in the massive, impressive, majestic architecture and landscaped grounds. School was in session--and no litter, all beauty. The Visitors Center, as with all National Park sites, is attractive, welcoming, and expertly presents a story. The story of the Little Rock Nine is told from the beginning of slavery, through... We were not able to tour the actual high school. The visitor's center is across the street and is operated by the National Park Service. There is a short documentary about the Little Rock Nine and the exhibits are well displayed.

I was more impressed with the power of this simply museum across the street from Central High than even of the very good Clinton Library. I am so glad our Little Rock friends pressed us to see it.

An amazing tour of a museum deep rooted in the history of desegration. It tells the story of how the governor of Arkansas attempted to defy federal court orders by preventing nine African American students from attending Central High School. President Eisenhower ordered 1200 U.S. Army troops into Little Rock to protect the civil rights of the students and guard... More

Worth an hour or two to understand this part of our civil rights history. Easy to understand presentation of what happened and why.

A part of my 'Civil Rights Tour." I saw the school first and was impressed with it and the stadium to the rear. The Visitor Center is good and well laid out. A A group of engaged students were on hand so it was a little crowded until they left for a tour of the operating school.

My family of five and my best friend's family of five visited Little Rock in March of 2013. We saw the reviews regarding the Central High Museum and Visitor Center and had to stop. I am so glad that we did! When you stand in the museum, looking out the large window at the high school in the background, and... More
