My husband and I travel with our dogs all the time and it's wonderful to find a dog friendly winery, since we both enjoy wine tasting. Old Creek has a lot of outdoor space to enjoy the wine and they encourage people to pack a picnic. We truly enjoyed ourselves and if we're back in the area, will definitely stop... More

I loved the atmosphere, very warm, family or couple friendly. There is outdoor benches and takes for lunch, trees, family dogs and a lawn. Very cute setting :-) I would stay all day if I could, I now go once a month just for a breath of fresh air

We called into this winery on the way from Ojai to LA, so glad we called in! A lovely drive up to the winery, loved the sign "road ends at winery". Fantastic setting for the winery, very friendly staff and great price for a tasting (we shared the flight!). All very relaxed. No pressure to buy but we did buy a... More

The tasting here is a very good value ($10 for 9 tastings) and the orchard setting is beautiful. We decided to take our time with the tasting and sit outside in between wines. The wine was better than I'd expected. I plan to visit again and bring a picnic to enjoy the wine with!

I recently visited this winery with my family. I wasn't the only one with a family. There was a couple of groups of women with a picnic spread and many children. However, when I approached the establishment, I was told (by an older gentleman at the info office) that this wasn't the ideal spot for that sort of activity. Hmmm??... More

My husband and I visited the Old Creek Ranch Winery last weekend while staying at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa with the rest of our extended family and the afternoon was absolutely perfect. It was quite a crowded day for wine tasting, but we never felt rushed, or unwanted, and the wines were fabulous. We chatted with the wine... More

Oak Creek Ranch Winery, 10024 Old Creek Road, Ventura (off Hwy 33). The tasting is $10 for 10 wines. We decided to share a tasting. The wines offered for tasting ranged from $22-35. Wines included lots of blends. No real sweet wines here, or zins or cabs. Plenty of reds. No wines found compelling for us. Friendly Service. Pressure low.... More

The Old Creek Ranch Winery is situated in a valley with orchards and a stream. The winery has a long established and well earned reputation for excellent wines. Owned by a family for decades it has both a tasting room and the winery itself. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Tastings are quite reasonably priced. An added bonus... More

This place is a great stop if you are staying in the area for the weekend as my Wife & I did. The Winery rests on a beautiful farm, it has a clean & cozy feel. Its also the only place in the area that is winery while other places in the area only have tasting rooms. The grapes are... More

We met the Whitman's lovely daughter Campbell at a wine bar in Paris and she told us proudly of the family winery in California. Recently I had the chance to visit while in LA on business and had a great time meeting John, Michael, and Julie...and drinking the wine!!! I love to hear the stories behind the people and the...
