The park is just beautiful and well kept and the visitor's center is a must see stop that every age can enjoy. We,ve hooked out grandchildren on civil war history by taking them here.
Great biking tour of the battlefield, including a southern reenactment group! Enjoyed the informational plaques and the beautiful scenery.

Highly recommend the self-guided auto tour with the CD. Allows you to get an overall feel and then pick and choose those areas of most interest. The echoes never fade. This should be a required pilgrimmage for every American.
An absolute MUST is the guided tour with a licensed tour guide in the comfort of your own car. The tour guide drives you around the battlefield - a huge area six miles long and 4 miles wide - and takes you through the 3 day battle day by day from each area of the Battlefield where the fighting took...

Great way to start your tour of the battlefield area. Must see the diarama (sorry not sure of the spelling) and the movie.
