Fun and laid back lots of yummy restaurants and shopping. Love how you can walk around with a drink in your hand. Very friendly city life.
Great spot to grab a souveneir. Nice view of the Savannah River. Lots of History here as well. Walking distance from Historic Downtown.

Our walks down River Street are by far my favorite part about our trip to Savannah. We loved the culture, the history, the views, and the arts. You won't be disappointed!

great area to visit, many things to do along side of river,a variety of places to eat, shop, sightsee.parking at a premium, but easy to get to,can get crowded, side walks and cobblestone street could present a problem for some

River street is a must see from the huge boats going thru,to the restaurants making up most of it,they have everything from seafood,to steak, and several bars along the strip,if you are looking to try the "artillery punch" they talked about in midnight in the garden of good and evil,go to riverhouse seafood restaurant and order it, while we were there...
