Lovely to sit and have a picnic at the visitors centre. The Centre is very informative and interesting with the usual gift shop.

She shared her passion of this incredibly unique and breathtaking environment. we saw Osprey, tons of trout, and had a blast on the river. the views were intoxicating. the petroglyphs were okay. we thought that there would be more based on the reviews we had read before.... We visited in June. The views around Glen Canyon Dam were amazing in the late afternoon. The visitor center was excellent.

Short, informative and nice visit to the dam, get to learn about its consruction and operation. Also great views. Recommended for families with kids (and without...).

The Dam's specs make it just a tad smaller than Hoover Dam. The tour is fascinating, and the information center has lots of interesting photos about the construction of the dam.

Took both the river trip and drove around to several scenic views. Breathtaking! Took way too many pictures! ;-)

Disappointing that we could not take the tour of the Dam, as the elevator was not working. This was a strange coincidence as soon after 9 11, we were unable to tour the Hoover Dam, owing to security concerns. However the Visitor Center was interesting.

We had such an interesting young tour guide who not only gave us the "tour" about the Dam wall but was very happy to share his knowledge about Page with us as he had grown up in Page. The elevator was not working so we couldn't go down into the dam wall nevertheless it was worth a visit.

We weren't on time for a tour, but sat through two short films. The dam's history is amazing and well worth a visit. For $5 per person, you can tour inside the dam. I did this as a teenager and still remember the experience.
