First of all, I was scared of being in an enclosed space on the side of a mountain. I asked the elderly woman how big the trails were, and she pointed to the ending of the trail, which was rather wide. LIES. 95% of the trail was very thin with sharp turns. The horses kept moving to the edge of... More

We stopped at the stables on our way out of the park 6-4-13. There was a 2 hour tour leaving within minutes, and we were able to join in. Our guide, Paul, was knowledgable and entertaining. The horses (Outlaw and Adeline) were well behaved. Trails were beautiful- we even spotted a bear! Highly recommend!

The trail was amazing! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Our guide was great and made sure everyone was comfortable. It was my sons first ride and he absolutely loved it! He had never rode a horse before. The horses were all very gentle. All around great experience. Will definitely go again!

This trail ride was amazing. The smokeys are beautiful. I ha my 5 year old granddaughter with me and she got to ride her own horse. The guide "Ryker" held the lead rope. She loved it! Rykers horse kept trying to kick Midnight but midnight never jerked while my granddaughter was on him. My horse was wonderful also. Ryker gave... More

Rusty was an awesome tour guide. Great time of year to ride through the mountain trails. Horses were gentle and overall a really fun experience. Great mountain views.

We've been on all the trails in the area and this is the best. Best guides, best horses, and by far the best trails. All the riding stables have knowledgeable guides and friendly staff for the most part, but these folks are just a tick better.

We signed up for the 1 1/2 hour trail ride with a guide. The horses were excellent, well behaved. I had Mosey. The guide we had was great. He was very talkative and told us a lot about the area, the horses and anything elase we asked about. At the end of the ride we had the option to buy... More

I was at rear and had to keep pushing other horses following guide, I was disappointed from last years trail ride. Plan to use different stables next time. Just being honest with this review!

This place was great. There are so many riding places to choose from in the area that we were a little overwhelmed but we were so happy we chose Sugarland. I was a little nervous to ride and everyone working there was so nice and helpful about it. They really helped me feel comfortable and have a great time. The... More

We went riding for my husbands birthday on May 7th. I don't remember the guide's name, he was a younger guy in a camo hoodie, but he was outstanding. Very friendly, easy going, and gave us a lot of information about the area and wildlife. The horses all seemed well cared for (we operate a rescue back home so we... More
