Beautiful Park with lots of elephants and some giraffes. Beware of the monkeys if you eat at the entrance as they like to get in your vehicles and even steal your lunch from the table. We got some great pictures and beautiful memories.

Stayed in Tarangire for two nights. Saw lots of journeys of giraffes and herds of elephants. Also saw several hyrax. Watch out for the vervet monkeys at the entrance to the park. They love to steal food so make sure, When leaving your vehicle, that the windows are closed all the way.

I would highly recommend adding Tarangire National Park to your itinerary. It is much closer to Arusha / Kilimanjaro than the more popular Serengeti and Ngorongoro and far, far less crowded.
