The church and courtyard are good. But church inners definitely need more cleanliness and a coat of fresh wall paint considering the number of tourists come here.

the richness of the mansion (definitely not a simple building I can feel that how small i'am in front it by all means .the amount of power aggregated from the prayers of believers too huge to protect the needy

edathua church is nice place in the bank of backwater. peaceful and beautiful. lot of people visit the church during the perunaal..

Religiously Historical. A tendancy for copying traditional cultures !!! A point to be thought of!! Ultimately If there is a religion that religion has nothing more to spare than the other one.For all teaches the SAME concept.

We were staying across the canal from this church at the little known but amazing 'Triveni River Palace' resort. Edathua church is a famed catholic church. the feast of saint george is celebrated with much gusto especially by the tamil mainly fishermen devotees who camp the area during the season. The saint is well known to cure bodily ailments when prayed with a silver mini replica of the body part.

We came across this church when we were on the rice barge sailing the backwaters we disembarked from the barge we walked through the village.
