Ok, I may be biased because I graduated from there many years ago, but it was just as beautiful as I remembered. If you go in the spring or summer there's a great farmers market surrounding the state capital. Park your car and just walk everywhere. No need to drive around. Best thing is to sit behind Memorial Union and... More

When you tell people you're visiting the University of Wisconsin - Madison, most people see bucolic dairyland, lakes and rabid Big 10 college football fans, screaming, with their whole bodies painted red. My daughter was accepted into a science discipline at UW-Madison and we recently went to visit. The first thing that struck me was that the University buildings were... More

We toured the University, starting at the fantastic Union South, and heading all around campus. Union South is open to the public, and is worth visiting, even if you don't have a kid looking here. It is a real showcase, and was an attraction for my son as he prepares to make his college decisions.

I love this University. I'm currently a student here and am so glad I decided to go to UW Madison. The education here is top notch, the campus is gorgeous, the facilities and opportunities that are available to me are plentiful. But the thing that makes me so proud to be a Badger are the people here. I've traveled all... More

The campus is quite big and parking is definitely an issue. When we first arrived at the university (our first time visiting) we headed to a parking lot designated by the website, but quickly found out that there was no more room. Upon reaching our second parking lot, I was told all the parking lots are filled and I would... More

First time at UW. Gorgeous views of the lake. Older, eclectic neighborhoods. But winter is cold!! Loved the scenery and sense that this is an old campus with classic building. Didn't,like the harsh winter weather.

The UW Madison is one of the most beautiful campus's I've ever seen. Many old buildings, a clock tower that's over 100 years old, a beautiful lake and great woodsy trails.

The UW-Madison is a wonderful school for learning. There are so many different areas of learning that take place there and I think all of them are top rated. My own experience - my son did his residency in anesthesiology there and had nothing but good to say about their program. It is one of the top-rated schools in the... More

We went to our first Badger football game this year and there is absolutely nothing like it! The energy of the crowd is amazing! Much better than any professional football or baseball games that we have been to.

My daughter is a freshman at UW and she loves it and nice to have her happy! THE homework is hard work but it will benefit her in the end!
