Glad we did it, but probably won't do it on our next visit. The homes are beautiful, but felt it was a bit over-rated.

Canal street is the major street in NOLA. It houses a lot of different businesses which is cool and you can walk up and down it and see lots of different people showing their cool talents and selling cool things.

Everyone should ride the absolutely free, you can take your car with you for a dollar, ferry across the Mississippi River to Old Algiers. This is free to pedestrians or those on bikes. It takes about 5 mins to cross and gives a great view of New Orleans, plus a fun, free way to say you were sailing on the Mississippi!!!!
