A beautiful beach right in Kailua-Kona. Good snorkeling over rock and coral either side of beach. I always seen juvenile Hawaiian sea turtles while swimming.

It was easy to get to with a free parking lot across the street. It's free with a changing room and bathroom. There is a picnic area down the road if u want to cook out. It's free, very clean, and scenic!!! What more can you ask for:)

Great beach, beautiful setting and wonderful for boogie boarders. If you want relaxing waves, this is not for you. Facilities nearby and a parking lot to boot. We only went here once, it was so pretty.

This beach gets a bit crammed during the day, but its a close beach to get to if you are staying in Kona, and great for watching the sunset!

I'm a snorkeler and this is not the beach for that activity. Although on super calm days you can put on your mask and fins. This is the beach to play in the surf. There is a nice mix of locals and tourists. Sometimes the friendly aroma of pakalolo might tickle your nostrils. I enjoy reading a book in the... More

Maybe we caught it at the wrong time but we didn't see any magic sands. Smaller beach parking is limited people were body surfing and boogey boarding.

White sands, and a beach with a choice of sitting under some shade trees or the warmth of the sun. This beach changes, depending upon the time of the year. There is more sand in the summer, and is more rocky during winter months. We enjoyed sitting under the trees and watching swimmers, body surfers and in the distance, hump... More

Small beach but very nice white sand. Took 9 year old there to boogie board. He loved it. Gets pretty filled up as it quite small.
