We have been running our hiking tours out of Seward for five years now, and we are the only company in town offering guided glacier tours. Our tours allow adventurous folks to ice climb and hike directly on the surface of this magnificent natural attraction. We also offer a cheap ride to Exit Glacier from Seward via an hourly, eco-friendly $10 shuttle. The rangers at the park offer free tours of the lower area 3 times a day. « less

In the past three years I've traveled to Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Australia, and the Czech Republic. All were amazing once-in-a-lifetime adventures, but I'd pick my weekend with Exit Glacier Guides over the rest. I went as part of a bachelor party; we had limited time and money so decided we'd go to Alaska. We wanted more than a hike... we... More

You will regret not climbing Exit Glacier with these guys. Someday, you will be an old person with aches and pains looking back on your life and you will think back to this trip and thank God you didn't wuss out. It's THAT awesome. I am an out-of-shape, non-outdoorsey 27-year-old woman. My snow boots have fur on them. If I... More

My husband and I (38-40) took the Exit Glacier Ice Climbing tour in August and had a fabulous time! The hike up the mountain was beautiful, but challenging due to the steepness and with all of our climbing gear. I recommend wearing a t-shirt as your bottom layer as it does get hot climbing. The ice climbing itself was a... More

I planned my family's adventure vacation to Alaska and researched everything extensively. I KNEW my husband and sons, 24 & 21, would LOVE this adventure but I was very leery. I am 47, in pretty good physical condition but deathly afraid of heights! I contacted Exit Glacier Guides both via email and phone and Brendan & Ryan were very reassuring... More

My wife and I decided to go on a trip with Exit Glacier Guides based on the reviews from Trip Advisor. We were thrilled with our decision. We decided to partake in the ice climbing. They promote a 1:3 guide to client ratio. They met this perfectly since it was just the two of us with the guide. They get... More

Exit Glacier guides was AWESOME!!! My husband and I went on one of the hikes up to Exit Glacier and had a great time, the guides were fun and informative. It was scary but the guides really made me feel better about being on the ice. I would recommend this to anyone in the area, its a once in a... More

This was the very last tour we did before boarding our 10-hour flight home - and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Trevor and Keith were great guides. We took the day-long hike to Exit Glacier, in the rain but the guides were knowledgeable and kept the group engaged in the tour despite the rain. More

This was an amazing experience. This is a somewhat easy way to get onto a glacier and see what it is really like. The hike itself is not very strenuous and we even had a couple over 50 in our group. The guide was awesome and had a very good knowledge of the area. He got us around safely. Our... More

Kids loved the helicopter ride up to the glacier as much as the glacier hike. Glacier is a bit muddy looking ice at the foot of the glacier though it is still a neat experience. We did the easy hike from the Helicopter Ice Hiking tour. Minimum age was 8, and our 10 year old had no problems except cold... More

This is one of the most amazing trips offered in Seward. If you are here for one day, this is something I would HIGHLY recommend you doing. The hike to the glacier is a bit intense, but the views are breath taking! It was totally worth it once we hit the glacier. Taking our first step on the glacier with... More
