The Frye museum is a lovely spot for an afternoon of 19th and 20th century art. The permanent collection and temporary exhibits showcase both the Frye collection and other pieces. It's a great stop for anyone in the neighborhood, and worth seeking out if your a fan of whatever is currently on display. Also - the cafe is quite good. More

Love this museum. The art ranges from classical to contemporary. They exhibit local artists as well. It has a great "feel" and there's free parking too. More

A great place, and ITS FREE. My bf and I are both artist and we love nothing more then to look at art. The people at the Frye are very friendly and I enjoyed my first time there very much . It will be a must everytime I go to Seattle now. More

This museum has a nice permanent collection and some of the best exhibits in town. Nice architecture, gallery and snack bar. Tucked into a quiet part of Capitol Hill. More

Mr. and Mrs. Frye's gift to the city of a free art museum is one that truly keeps giving. I doubt that I will ever grow tired of viewing the pieces in the permanent collection. The museum also curates a variety of other fine temporary exhibits. More

The Frye Art Museum is an intimate experience. As the next show was being installed and was not open for viewing, I spent time w/ oil paintings from the founding collection.
