We were looking for the Arboretum when we stumbled on this park. We took less than an hour to stroll around enjoying the trees, flowers, ponds and the biggest koi I have seen. Lots of cute turtles in the pond too. Starting in May you can even have a wedding here, I think that would be great, if not raining.

It was a great way to spend my husband's birthday, May of 2012. We will always remember that day. This park is a jewel.

This park is sparkling clean, well-groomed with lovely lawns and little ponds where you can see flowering bushes reflected. It is a very popular place for wedding photos due to its relaxing beauty. Wear sturdy shoes, there is a small trail that goes up a hill behind one of the ponds and has a wonderful view of the garden. Very... More

Great to be able to bring our dog on a walk through the gardens! Even though it was early in the growing season, there were lots of great plants to see. Check it out!

This is a beautiful relatively small park, great for walking with out-of-town visitors (esp those who might be less vigorous or flower lovers).

This is a wonderful, calm, peaceful place. There is an amazing stone garden, spring ponds, Mapes Creek, bamboo growing alongside paths, a stroll garden, lots of stone benches to rest on, small "mountains", a forest, and Japanese gardens. It is so lovely here and well worth the trip. It is lush and exotic and a photographer's dream come true. If... More

it's worth a visit if you have the time to just take a stroll around and not worry about getting somewhere in a hurry. I wouldn't recommend making special time for this but if you don't mind just relaxing for some time with your family or taking along some snacks and sitting on the lawns and enjoying them, then it's... One of the best small gardens I have seen; lush and inventive. A bit of a trek to get here--I missed a turn or two--but well worth the effort.

All of the other reviews are correct. Kubota is a really nice garden. But don't come unless you are prepared to have your car broken into! There is a sign in the parking lot telling you to keep valuables out of sight and lock you car. On a cool and quiet Saturday morning in April, I did just that. As... More

Such a beautiful place, beautifully designed for maximum color in all seasons. It's out of the way, but if you're a plant/garden fan, don't miss it.
