All I can say is that this is a fitting tribute to one of our nation's best presidents! It's well worth a brief visit and contemplation.

The Lincoln Memorial was very impressive. No tours were given here, which is unfortunate since stories of moving Lincoln's body are so interesting. However it's a beautiful cemetery. And of course, you need rub the nose on Lincoln's statue for luck.

We came to see Lincoln's tomb and afterwards ended up touring the grounds. The tomb is a beautiful way to honor Lincoln. Beautiful cemetery that is home to one of our best presidents. Plan to leave time to either take a walk or drive through this large cemetery. WWII, Korean War, & Vietnam War memorials are here, too!

We could not tour the tomb as it was not yet open for the season, but the grounds are beautiful and the monument is very moving.
