I've been to Carytown twice now and both times found something of interest - there's a lot to see - very interesting assortment of shops throughout the area - some a little on the expensive, specialty side and others pretty normal - food, clothing and more - just wish they had more places to use the bathroom to be honest... Great venue for shopping if you like consignment, street vendors, music, frozen yogurt, etc. Cancan Brasserie offers a bit of chic amid the funk.

This is a must visit when you visit Richmond! Great restaurants, very diverse tastes, including Indian, Thai, American and frozen yogurt shops abound. Lots of interesting shops to browse thru. My favorite is For the Love of Chocolate, chocolate and candy from around the world. It smells good as soon as you open the door!

It's a fun festival. Musicians, food, drink, and interesting people. My family and I enjoy it every year. Can't wait for the next one.

I love the shoppes down in Carytown. It seems like some of the great ones are closed now but there are some okay replacements. There is a great yogurt place down there.

Quirky little district with all sorts of shops and restaurants. There are food establishments of all types. Lots of clothing and vintage shops. Go during the day when the shops are open, but fun to just walk through and look around!

We were here on a beautiful day and many families were out strolling the streets enjoying "the scene". I would love to have been here on a day the Byrd Theater had an organ concert. The shopping was OK and the restaurants plentiful. Pizza seems to be a favorite, and the place (Portrait) we stopped in put out a good... More

This area in Richmond is the place for little boutiques and one-off shopping sites. There is no trend setter here, and the amount of shops are limited, but still a fun 2 hour excursion. Not to be missed is Anthill Antiques, the most well stocked and laid out antique store I have ever seen!
