The Jefferson White House and Museum of the Confederacy were both great. Lots of great info and a nice tour of the home. It was a little funny that the events were portrayed in a way where it looked as though the North won despite their best efforts. More

Have been in Virginia just over a week and visited many, many museums, including three days in Washington DC (Smithsonian’s). This museum has more authentic and interesting artifacts than any of the other museum that we have visited in the past 7-days. Actual weaponry, worn uniforms, real battle flags, detailed accounts of battles & happens and just simply "cool STUFF".... More

This museum is very important to see when you are traveling through our capitol. It is located next to the Confederate White House and holds alot of Civil War and Precivil War artifacts. See it, you won't be sorry. More

This museum does a great job telling the history of a very dark period in USAmerican History. Allow a 2-3 hours if you want to see it all. If you want to read all of the exhibits, more time may be needed. More

The Confederate White House was one of the high points of our road trip south. Our tour guide was incredible! He told great stories about the Davis family and the people around them. As for the Museum one would think the family had just stepped out! Highly recommend this tour! More

Nice museum.. middle of downtown Richmond. Take the house tour. Walk around the museum. Typical museum tour. I have been maybe 2-3 times and there's not much variation in how the house tour is told, etc. More

We decided to visit this on the last day of our trip to Richmond. I love Civil War history, but had never really studies the Confederate side of it. This trip was well worth it! You can go to the Museum or the Confederate White House, or do both. I did both and was intrigued with the items they had... More

This little museum was very difficult to find because it's been swallowed by VCU medical center but lots of history passionately delivered! More
