I actually previewed this train ride on a PBS documentary.... deceptive editing led me to believe that it was routed through pristine wildeness with breathtaking vistas. The round trip from Hill City to Keystone and back was a great color tour in the cool of autumn.We enjoyed the ride so much that we took two rounds of house guest within a month of each other.

A nice ride thru the woods and back. Kids would love this and parents will like it is not too long. We enjoyed this. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

This was a slow ride through a sight filled countryside (especially when the fall colors were in bloom). Very relaxing trip with excellent staff on board.
