We did the half day hike. This gets you on the glacier for 1 1/5 hours which was enough to experience this great big ice mass. Our Irish guide was great. It rained the whole time, but the good equipment (lovely fitting boots e.g.) made it a great and comfortable morning.

I struggle to understand people's complaints based on the weather patterns of the glacier. The g hides need to ensure safety comes first. Amazing trip, we did the Fox trot walk. My girlfriend who, in her own words, is "super unfit", easily managed this. The guides were really friendly and all the outdoor gear needed was supplied. Perfect trip, must do in Fox glacier.
