In the heart of the city and right off I-80 is this jewel of a park. Sugarhouse park offers everything from great bike riding to walking paths and two really good playgrounds for the kids. Add numerous picnic pavilions, and you have the perfect place for that summer family get-together!

Spring, Summer, Winter or Fall, this park is a great place to walk, to photograph, watch the waterfowl and especially observe the change in the seasons., It also has great views of the Wasatch Mountains.

I used to visit this park on a weekly basis as a child. However it has become really creepy with all the overgrown weeds, the lake front walk needs attention and the wierd dudes hanging out in the bushes freak me out. YIKES! keep your children close

Coming from Florida we didn't have any really nice parks, as Sugarhouse. Sugarhouse is very family oriented and there are lots to do (run, bike, play soccer, lay on the grass, picnic, rent a pavillion for a party/event, lots of grass room to run and play with kids and dogs). Ultimately my favorite park that I have been to. My... More

We have been here many times for company and school picnics. The park has nice pavillions, great playgrounds and a nice stream flowing though that the kids love to play in.

Quiet, litter-free, and not many homeless people, most of the parks have demanding homeless people in them

Good playgrounds for little kids, and plenty of green space. Fabulous views of Mt. Olympus and the Wasatch Front.

Love going there. Was in a movie by my stake mission pres where I ran up towards the hill and you could only see the sky and the hill. Beautiful place.

As a kid, I went here frequently, but now I will not bring my own children here. It has been a scary and unsafe place for families at times. Sad, because it is a beautiful park and just needs better security.
