A really sweet little museum with a good Western Art room and some good temporary exibits. I love the cafe with a great view of the bay and the USS Lexington (a good photo op.) It is really nice when it first opens as it is not crowded at all and you can get a decent cup of coffee and... More

Modern Building with a variety of art. Sit on the concrete couch and watch the boats go by then eat at the resturant.

This was our second trip to Texas, the first time was a whirlwind visit, with a wedding and limited time. This time we went and just visited and we had the time to sightsee. We actually didn't go in but walked around the grounds, which were well kept and the large bull and water area were fantastic. There were sculptors... More

When we visited this museum, they were in process of changing the large exhibit, so we could only see the permanenet collection. We really enjoyed it, though. It is a lovely building, and the art we could see was great! (We were only charges half price since we could not see a lot.) The grounds here are outstanding. A beautiful... More

My family was down in Corpus for the 4th of July last year and so my experience wasn't what I would assume the typical experience with this place is. They had live music inside and outside the place along with all manner of children's activities. It was a good way to spend a chunk of the afternoon, though I must... More

The signs on the building and the receipt say "Art Museum of South Texas" but the address is still 1902 N. Shoreline Drive. Nice museum. Pretty good mix of art. Plan to attend around mid-day when the cafe is open. It features sandwiches, drinks, desserts and the most fantastic view of the entrance to the Port of Corpus Christi and... More

The museum building is one of nicest I've ever seen and has a nice and interesting collection of art. The collection is primarily comtemporary but also has some nice Western and pre-Columbian pieces. While you're not going to see Van Gogh, Monet, Picasso, da Vinci or other world famous artists represented here, the art is really good, the staff is... More
