Love the free parking and statues. There are lots of shops and places to get a drink. Swimming areas are well marked.

Loop is pretty and you get to see the ocean or the bay almost the whole time. There is also a small free car ferry trip that you take which was fun for us first timers.
This is a really fun loop if you go at the right time of year. Since we are locals we seldom like to be caught up in the 'seasonal' traffic, but truly enjoy this ride during the off times when the roads are quiet. If you go during the thick of beach season you will spend more time trying to...

This was our first trip to cc. We always go to the Galveston area, but decided to change it up a bit this year. Needless to say, Corpus Christi will not be graced with my presence ever again! A great place to go for a walk, relax and enjoy the view. There's also a few areas for the kids to play.
Its something to do and is a cute little drive. You will see some really nice houses with both spanish and mediterrean design. Large palm trees line many of the homes. It's worth the short drive.
Our hotel desk staff in San Antonio recommended Corpus Christy Beach for a day trip, we went, spent the big part of a day there and look back on it as being one of the best parts of our vacation. The beach was clean, the water was nice but a bit cool (April) and the people there were very friendly...

These is nothing I didn't enjoy about Corpus Christi beach! It is by far my favorite beach. It's clean and well kept and the loop was so interesting. I recommend that you take the time to enjoy it at your own pace.
The beach loop was a lovely drive but I wouldn't call it scenic. There really wasn't anything to see along the way. The town of Port Aransas was quaint and sweet and that was about the best thing about the drive. I really expected more from the other reviews that I had read, but it didn't meet expectations. I had...

Disappointed with the beaches here. Parking permits for city beaches are $12 for the year, not bad if you're a resident, but visitors don't get a good value. Bring something to secure your real estate, the wind is crazy mostly year round...
