My favorite of the San Antonio Missions since the building is intact and is not a reconstruction. Beautiful inside as well.

The grounds are so wonderful! They have signs up to guide you so when we went later in the evening, we could do the self guided tour! It it great!
we learned a lot from the park ranger who provided free tours of the mission, there are also good displays that tell about life in the mission and how native Americans interacted with the Spanish priests
This is the largest of the mission churches. The original paintings seen in some of the rooms are unique to this site and help the viewer imagine the vivid colors that were once in the other mission churches.
Concepcion is by far the most beautiful of the missions. If you only have time, visit this one. It's the closest to downtown, I believe it's on the bus/trolley tours, and it's a gem.
This is a beautiful mission!!!! It is still active, having mass, weddings, etc. It is the biggest of the old missions, much larger than the Alamo, which is the most famous of all 5 missions. The inside of the mission is unbelievable. If you get a chance, you need to see this!!!
The City and Park Service need to improve upon the signage-directional and otherwise. The signage is shameful!
If you're on a tour bus, take some time to look around. It's a small mission but has some nice interesting pics that need to be taken.
Like i wrote on the Mission Trail review, these are a beautiful set of churches/missions that for me is a must see. If you enjoy historical sites, ruins, and pretty old architecture you'll like Mission Concepcion and all the other missions on this trail
Spent plenty of time here to see how missions looked and the goal of having them in this area. All informative.
