Had a very nice time. Place was very clean and all the staff was very nice. Its like in a small shopping center with subway and a few other store. A little disappointed with the hall of fame store for having no Knick Jersey's, only in kids sizes.

I have been to the other 3 major sports hall of fame, and I would have to rate this #4.
You can do it in about 2 hours. The others I have visited, 2 hours is just a start.
They have a very good history of basketball "ring" on the second floor, where I spent a majority of my time....

I am a sports fan and was in Hartford, CT for business. I made a quick drive up to Springfield (about twenty minutes) to check this place out. Its a nice excursion if you are in the area, but I'm not sure its quite enough to justify a trip soley to visit unless you are a basketball super fan. Some...

I went with my two boys 10 & 13. They loved the museum and loved all the interactive things they could try. I would recommend going to experience the experience, your kids will love it too.
Even a non-basketball fan found plenty to do and entertain on a cold winter afternoon. Don't miss the interactives on the second floor and be sure to check the schedule of special event to be sure the center court is open (large court where you can dunk at different levels, try hoops from the various ages, etc.). There was a...

There were many artifacts that added interest to the Hall of Fame. Liked the timeline. Kids liked the freetime shooting baskets on the court
We got a Groupon for this today and phew...so glad we didn't pay full price! This place is really kind of geared to a super basketball fan. The top floor is all basketball paraphernalia in glass cases with paragraphs after paragraphs about what each thing is. The second floor was a little bit better. There were some interactive exhibits but...

Having seen the Hockey Hall of Fame, I didn't think it measured up, and I am a basketball fan more so than a hockey fan. We drove from Boston specifically to see the Hall of Fame, and there were some sections that were well done and we really enjoyed. The ball playing kids enjoyed the rebounding and the jump measurement,...
