First I am going to say I only attributed 3 hours to tour everything so I would have given more time. I am a Boston Science museum so I had free entry with the 2 kids. The science museum was a little boring esp compared to the many others I have been to but this is one of several bldgs.... More

The Quadrangle has the Dr. Seuss statues which was cool. There are a few museums around the Quad. The science museum was boring, but the two art museums and museum of industry was really interesting.

The courtyard is free with Dr Seuss and fantasy type structure made of saplings and still growing. The statues of Dr Seuss and his characters are delightful. The structure might be the only one of its kind. Well worth the visit. To one corner of the courtyard is a cafe with very reasonable food which is fresh and delicious.

The museum complex truly has something for everyone, especially their school vacation week programs and their changing special exhibits. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the cafe, though small and with a limited menu, has excellent quality food at reasonable prices.

This was my first visit to the Quadrangle - We only had the time to visit the historical museum which was fascinating .It had a lot of terrific displays and history of the city. I am looking forward to returning again to spend time at the other museums. Also if you are a city resident admission is free. It is... More

The Dr. Seuss Memorial, The Library, The museums, the local architecture. If you are in Springfield it is a place where you have so much to choose from you would be remiss to not stop here.

We stopped at the Springfield Museums before going to the Bright Nights holiday lights in nearby Forest Park. One moderate admission is good for all five museums around a quadrangle in the city. The ticket office is in the Science Museum so we went to this first. It was a decent, older science museum. There was a special exhibit of... More

For less than a two-hour drive on a sunny day in November, this was a great place to spend the afternoon. I came because I had heard of the Dr. Seuss Memorial, and so that's what we checked out first (plus, that part's free). The museums were quaint and we spent maybe 20-30 minutes in each, taking in some science,... More
