This is a lovely scenic walk.we parked our car at start of 40steps. On this walk you pass some of the Newport mansion's. We were limited to how far we could walk as part of the walk was closed off for repairs.

An experience that is not to be missed. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk even though the lower portion is being repaired. Park in the center section and go either way since there is no parking at the end of Bellevue Avenue.

Normally, the Cliff Walk makes for a great stroll along the Ocean in Newport and provides a "backside view" of some of the great mansions, but currently the Walk is under repair because of the damage done to it by Superstorm Sandy and there's no telling when it will be open to walkers again.

We were unlucky the day that we were in town. There was a college graduation & it started to rain so we were unable to fully enjoy our experience. Walking above the ocean with the waves crashing below on a nice sunny day. What more can you want? It is a very easy walk. There are a few stairs here and there. Nice views of some of the beautiful homes, and the ocean. It's a must when visiting Newport.

We started the walk at ocean drive and had to stop because we ran into a flight of steps....the views are beautiful and we got some great photos!!!

tricky in places but still doable! great hike. It was crowded at the start but after getting past the crowds it was a nice challenge. To get thru you need to be agile and active

This was a nice easy walk on a paved road. If your expecting a hike over the cliff's you'll be disappointed. A section is currently closed due to damage from Hurricane Sandy.

Great walking experience with beautiful views of the ocean and mansions. Partially closed due to hurricane sandy, but still great!
