If you never have been in to a submarine this is a great opportunity. But if you are claustrophobic, don't even try it.

liked the WWII vet's part of the tape tour. Took lots of pics inside sub - very clean - sparkling for an old ship.

If you have not be on board a submarine, you must visit this museum. It will give you an appreciation of how the submariners live. Personally, I could not do it. But in comparison to todays big nukes, the Bowfin is a statement to the patience of man.

I have friends who served on submarines but a tour through this put it in perspective. It was highly compact and imagine sleeping on the torpedoes. Well worth it.

After being in a submarine for the first time, I couldn't help but marvel at how efficient every inch of space can be used - and reused on a submarine. Compact is not even the right word to describe the tight quarters people aboard a sub have to cope with. Wow! I appreciated the opportunity to see sky through the... More

I hit my head on a black part of the hatch that was sticking out. I knew I had to watch my head, but because it was painted black, it was invisible. Signage could be better.

A well-preserved WWII-era sub that smells of diesel fuel and Brasso just like it should. Hard to believe men would spend months in these cramped quarters, but they did - and thank God they did, too! Go up on the sail (conning tower) and give the order to dive - into the past!

Great tour with audio headsets; some of the dialog is by the former skipper. Very interesting indoor museum about the history of submarines and their men.

Go see what it's like to live in a submarine very interesting and a little tight .The men that ran that sub were very strong to do what they did
