The place was clean with a handful of decent food options. Right in the middle of all the downtown hotels. I guess my biggest gripe with Cincinnati is that I have had more street people ask me for money than any other city in the US. They should take a page out of NYC's handbook and clean up the vagrancy... More

We were in town for the Flying Pig Marathon and noticed the Cinco de Mayo celebrations happening. Really fun area, and the fountain is very impressive. When we came back the next day, we noticed the Reds game being televised on the jumbo screen above the square. If it was not raining, would have been awesome to eat our Graeter's... More

I was born and raised near Cincinnati, and it is really good to see Fountain Square come back to life. There are a variety of restaurants and shops that have moved into this area in the last ten years. It is also close to different venues for the arts, religion, and sports.

A beautiful fountain, just watch the wind shifts or you'll get wet. They show the Reds games in the square. Lots of restaurants ring the square, including the city's premier ice cream parlor.

Cincinnati has done a fantastic job blending it's Industrial Age splendor with style and needs of today. Fountain Square if a great example. It features a magnificent historic fountain "The Spirit of Water", which deserves to be called a sculpture/art more than a fountain. The surrounding Square area hosts a variety of public events. I travel here several times a... More

Fountain Square is a great place to meet and mingle. In the summer, they have free movies on the jumbo tron and people bring their own lawn chairs, etc. It's always been a favorite spot of mine and I make an effort to go there whenever I'm downtown.

This is one of those places that is great to just watch people. There are plenty of dining options to chose from, and a great ice cream parlor on the corner. Very fun.
