The view from the top is fantastic. There are a lot of stairs and I managed to get to the top with a dodgey hip. The tea plantations along the way are spectacular. Take some small change for the tea pickers as they really appreciate a little tip for taking their photos.

Lovely walk through tea plantations to a small peak with gorgeous views. Very easy walking even in summer shoes. Go to a little roadside restaurant called Adam's Breeze for a homemade lunch.

My husband and I, accompanied by our guide, Krishan Fernando from TripLanka Tours, hiked to Little Adam's Peak. It is worth the climb for the spectacular views and the bird watching. It took us about an hour, as we stopped to take pictures. Go early before it gets too hot!
