Although I've been to Penang many times I've never been to this fruit farm. It was a lovely way to spend a few hours - very cool in the hills and very informative. The tour is easy on the legs as they take you up the hill in a truck! At the end of the tour you get a fruit... More

We were just driving by and stopped here for lunch - we didn't do the tour or anything but just had a huge plate of fruit for lunch looking out at the view and it was such a lovely cool break! The fruit platters were huge and an amazing selection (and a refreshing break from curries and noodles) - very... More

The fruit farm is an interesting diversion if you have plenty of time to spare whilst visiting Penang. Whist interesting to seethe exotic fruits growing on location, I didn't know dragon fruits is a cactus for example, it dosn't hold your interest for too long. I do think that it would of been more interesting in a month or two... More

We arrived by bus (501 which runs two hourly) and paid our 35 MR, were whisked up to the plantation and tacked onto a tour which "had just started". After 10 min we reached the end, not 30 mins as promised. We pointed this out to the man and he put us onto another tour, much better. The fruit and... More

A really "fruitful" day trip to the Tropical Fruit Farm. The nice cool breeze that comes through once you're at the end of the tour at the top is really enjoyable also. As well as eating all the delicious fruits in their small fruits buffet and enjoying freshly squeezed juices! This well preserved environmentally friendly sanctuary is a must see... More

March is low season at the fruit farm, so by all means go if you are looking for something to fill the day, or hungry for an all-you-can eat fruit buffet. It is a pleasant enough, if somewhat overpriced attraction at 35MYR per person. We found the staff to be enthusiastic and no hard sell of their products. take an... More

You only spend about 1 hour here but it is most enjoyable. You are high up in the hills with beautiful views to the ocean and views of the farm. You are driven to the starting point of your tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and took fruit from the trees for us to try. You only have to walk... More

After visiting the spice garden and butterfly farm we decided to find the fruit farm. We had hired a car, it only took about 20 mins from Batu Ferringhi. Free and easy parking. We had a look around the fruit shop after paying our 35MYR each. One of the guides explained what all the fruits were and chatted to us... More

We travelled here by car and it was well worth the mr35. The guy who met us when we arrived was very knowledgable and showed us around the shop and told us about the fruits on display and then we went off with another guide who walked us around the orchard explaining all about the different fruits and how they... We travelled to the farm with our own car. Ample parking is available. A visit to the farm is MYR 35 per adult and includes a guided tour of the farm, tropical fruit buffet (~18 types of fruit) and a fruit juice of your own creation. Altogether this takes just over one hour. The guide was great, showing us each... More
