Great instructor, and I appreciate that they worked with us to make sure the lessons were perfect for our experience level and needs. 10/10 would recommend to friends who want to learn to kiteboard.

Most schools will have you spend your first sessions on the beach. 15 knots had me in open water, hooked to a kite within 30 minutes on day 1. Jet-ski support is a must for your first sessions. Don't bother with a school that doesn't have it. Jetski support translates to: no walking the beach; no body dragging for your board; immediate observation, critique, and correction.
I found the guide, Leo (who had 11! years of experience) very knowledgeable, encouraging, and quick to react to my failures.
Recommendations:
1. Do a 3hr session. It takes awhile to feel any confidence. Packages for longer times mean multiple days. The absolute most they will allow in one day is a 4hr session (by permission only). Your core will be wrecked after day 1, so give yourself some recovery time if you buy a package.
2. Bring at least a liter of water and plenty of sunscreen for a 3hr session. You'll be eating salt much of the day.
3. Bring your own phone and trust that it might possibly bite it. The pictures are worth the risk.
4. Look into kitesurf goggles. I don't know if they work, but I wish I had them.
5. Don't expect the equipment to be pretty. It's safe; it's functional.
6. Do it. It's worth it.
I still can't believe there were not 1,000 people out on the water. It was absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you Juan and Leo for making this happen on short notice for me! I'll be back when I can!

Leu was awesome and was able to progress me very quickly to a board and riding. While the jetski was helpfully and definitely saved time after being blown down wind the beach session was my favorite. Mainly because that is what real riding is going to be like without access to a jetski. Very organized instructors and great gear!

Leunam is a fantastic teacher and an all around great guy! I also had a chance to chat with Freddie, who was very pleasant and seemed quite knowledgeable as well. Overall I had a wonderful experience with 15 knots!

Easy booking, convenient, and ideal location for learning. I took a semi-private 3 hour lesson with my daughter. This was the first kiteboarding experience for both of us. It generally went OK and we both left with a reasonable sense That we could learn the sport with some more time and instruction.
We also both found our instructor to be a little short on patience and not spectacular at explaining. He may have just been having a bad day, but he didn’t seem to be able to shake it off to help make our experience more positive.

This 4 hour kite board class was the first one I've ever taken and it was great! Freddie, our instructor, made the experience so rewarding. His confidence and obvious expertise were very much appreciated and helped relieve me of my trepidation. He clearly explained the preparation of the kits, purchasing gear, required gear etc and made sure we were fully prepared. Being in the water with him was very reassuring as he helped get the kite up and helped us learn how to relaunch and maneuver it. We were novices, so really the idea of getting up on the board was only a dream LOL
But the kiting was the real experience. It is obvious you need to be an expert at the kite before trying to get up on the board. But really, the school was very communicative when I signed up online. Freddie reached out by text to confirm and directions and instructions were provided. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back!!

The owner, Juan Carlos, and my instructor, Leu, were AWESOME!
I've had classes before with great teachers, but I always had trouble hearing them. With 15 Knots, the instructor was able to give me immediate feedback while I was riding because we had a water proof walkie talkies.
My stance was off before and my knee would start hurting after only 1 hour, but with Leu I rode 2 hours and didn't feel any pain! I could have kept going for another 1-2 hours.

How far are you from Rincon? Our son is 10 years old. What is the age limit for a lesson? We would both like to participate.
Thanks,
