If you are staying in the middle and have the choice between Wrightsville and Carolina beach I would choose Carolina if you are traveling as a family with kids. The parking was better at Carolina Beach and we didn’t have to get there super early to obtain parking. The price on average for most parking lots were $25 for the day. The boardwalk area is busy as one would expect. There’s food and gift shops - typical to most beach towns. We stayed further down away from the boardwalk. We packed our own snacks, drinks, and entertainment. The beach was pretty busy but water was nice and the beach was clean.

Went to this beach on a bday trip to P.R for my good friend, we loved the vibe of this beach, sexy there is also a Gentleman giving great Massages out there. Highly recommended. Going back next year for my bday.

It was a nice quiet beach. We went during the week so it was not crowded. We had our own chairs so we found shade under some trees. The ants were a lil disrespectful but hey… I’m the one the plopped down in their spot so 🤷🏽‍♀️. Not much for food options so keep that in mind to bring your own or plan accordingly. There was someone walking down the beach selling mojitos so we bought a couple.

Very surprised about this museum. Very well maintained and organized. Parking is near (5 minutes walking distance) and with a shuttle service also available.

Entry prices for adults is $10 and free for all kids. The museum is spread across multiple areas, including go-karts, a real American Airlines plane, and small boats.

    Highly recommend for kids.

We greatly appreciated the 10:30 mass in English. They clearly worked hard (and beautifully) to make it a good experience both for English speakers and Spanish speakers. The priest gave the homily (an excellent message!) in Spanish, while an associate translated into English.

Our valet recommended this beach as his favorite to visit on a day off. We could tell from the line of traffic headed down that it was going to be popular. We passed several inviting open air restaurants as we neared the beach and my only regret is not having time to stop for a bite! We parked on a grassy area across from the beach, which was convenient and I was thankful it was not full on this pretty Saturday afternoon. We crossed the busy street carefully with our coolers and trekked alongside the pavement until we saw people. This is definitely a family beach. Loud music and conversations emanated from beach blankets all over the sand. There were available spots, but not many. My favorite part of this beach was the small rock outcropping which held back the larger waves and made a shallow swimming area much like a calm swimming pool. Small groups were able to stand and enjoy the water without the need to struggle against the current. The beach was natural, so palm fronds and seaweed were scattered about, but it was also clean. Trash cans were lined up at regular intervals so there was no litter. Due to the proximity to the airport, planes took off frequently nearby. It was loud, but also cool to see the planes fly so close overhead. It was fun to spend an afternoon the same way that so many local residents spent their weekend days. Next time I’m stopping for food!

Its a small house, but it harbors a nice collection of art made by the students of the art institute of Carolina. Such a great place to show their abilities.

The casino parking is horrible. Very few spaces. We have gone various times and the lot is always full. When this happens, the only choice one has, besides Very expensive valet parking, is to park across the street in a multilevel garage, which is not free either. Years ago, the hotel had its own multilevel parking. But, for reasons unknown, it was torn down. It needs to come back immediately.

People who have been to Vegas would call it small. But it was sufficient for my wife to enjoy herself . No wifi . The hotel has wifi for its guests and Outback Steakhouse across the hall has wifi for its guests. I used the Outback, because the hotel's needs a password .Drinks at the bar were very expensive.
