Most beaches in the Greek Isles are not sandy. This beach has very little sand and is crowded with chairs. I walked there but didn't bother to stay

This is a nice beach but make sure you walk along the beach to Nicolos Taverna because you wont be dissapointed. Food is excellent.

When you first approach the beach at Platis Gialos, you will be likely overwhelmed by the cramped beach chairs and umbrellas that are all privately owned by the hotels and restaurants. But don't be so quick to jump on the ferry boat to another beach. Walk over to Atlantida Restaurant and speak to the gregarious host who will chat you... More

Beach with watersports, restaurants and mini market - full package. End of May was quite windy and still quiet, yet hot enough and less crowdy.

We were in Mykonos for one day off of a cruise last June and we headed to this beach for the day. We ended up getting lounge chairs under an umbrella at one resturaunts behind the beach. Our waiter, Pierre, was more than accomodating... he brought our beer and food right out to us on the beach. I have personally... More

This was my favorite beach on Mykonos. Very blue water, soft sand and very few rocks in the water to walk over. Great time had here.

This beach has to many sunbeds and restaurants for my taste. It doesn't have that island feel to it and you would need to walk to the far end to have some seclusion.

We visited both Paradise Beach and this beach. Out of the 2, I enjoyed Platis Gialos more. The beach lounge chairs were free, which were owned by the hotels right on the beach. The chairs are free because they want you to order from their kitchen / bar whereas at Paradise beach it cost 6 euro to rent one chair.... More

Lovely soft sand and water you can't resist. The beach lounger/bar service by the staff at the Hotel Kosmoplaz was great with ice buckets supplied to keep your drinks cold for longer. The looky looky men and the Asian massage people are a pest.
