been to Monkey Zoo on several occasions and we really love it . Agree conditions are not always the best but I'm sure the more it is supported they will improve . Hoping to take our 2 grandchildren for a visit next week. Never had a problem with a taxi - the reception phone and one is there in minutes....

I had completely mixed feelings after visiting here for many reasons, ill start with a positive - feeding the lemurs was very satisfying!
Now for the disturbing parts, the animals here are clearly not happy!!!! The monkeys look so sad and the cages are clearly not big enough to justify having the monkeys in there! The chimpanzees were a very...

We visited a while ago and have only just remembered to review it. This was the highlight of our holiday! We followed the advice to get there early when the monkeys are hungry and this worked for us. We also took a lot of fruit in ourselves that we picked up in the morning, they really preferred this to the...

We visited one afternoon, and what a pleasant surprise. well worth the 10 euro, theres lots of little monkeys, parrots, meekats, birds and two naughty chimpazies that sprayed us with water !! theres really no point in buying the food they dont eat it, i did see them eating Bananas what people brought in !!
We spent a very enjoyable morning in the company of some very friendly monkeys, very reasonably priced and only a short taxi ride away from where we were staying. A return visit for me, the first for my husband who had a great time hand feeding the lemurs! Also there are crocs, exotic birds, lizards and different monkeys in other...

After spending 76 euros to visit Mount Teide, we needed something a little cheaper to do. From Los Cristianos, you can actually walk to Monkey Park (up the TF-665 and through the Autopista tunnel) to save yourself the price of the taxi fare. Entrance is 10 euros per adult and food is an extra 2 euros, but not really necessary...

A small park but still worth the 10 euros each.
Wouldn't bother buying the food. The lemurs are the only thing that will really come to you in the walk through cages. There are plenty other monkeys, reptiles and birds too look at.
A taxi from Americas was only 6 euros and there was a taxi waiting outside for our...

this park is great only small but you can get up close and persoanl with some of the animals. the lemurs are particularly lovely and will come right up to you they even sit on your knee-dont wear white shorts!
Monkey Park was a good way to spend a couple of hours. There were loads of species of monkeys, reptiles, birds & guinea pigs to look at & touch. Do bring your own fruit though as they really are not interested in the bags they sell at the door (although the pigeons loved it)!! We went round twice & will...
