That's a shame the bar is closed and we can't buy water and a sandwich - we stayed just 1h in the archeological site because it was too hot and dry and we had ignored the information of bringing supplies. Besides, maybe with a guided tour it would worth the trip, because the information in maps and on the floor... More

Great day as it wasn't too sunny but beware there are no facilities on the island and, sadly, little information on what you will see on the ground or in the museum.

We enjoyed the boat and the 30 minute trip. We arrived at Delos and had to pay again to get into the ruins. This surely should be one payment!

This review is of the island of Delos - loved it. Boat ride takes about 1/2 hr, beautiful views of Mykonos and Delos from the boat, sat up top outside and soaked it all in. We arrived on an earlier boat and stayed until the last boat was leaving, loved scrambling around in the ruins, hiked to the highest point... More

An absolutely fabulous site to visit. Very different than many of the ancient sites and the supposed home of APPOLO. It tends to be a bit windy on the Island, so dress accordingly - apparently it has something o do with the location of the Island. The ruins are impressive and incredible and the restoration work that is going on... More

Do this tour if you go to Mykonos... it is enchanting! This is one of the few islands that they do not allow people to inhabit because they are still excavating. They only allow two tours a day and the rest of the time, archeologists are still digging. There are ancient ruins of a marketplace and classic houses. Delos is... More

I write this because so few people apparenlty know about Delos. We took an excursion to Delos when our ship docked in Mykonos in mid Oct.. Only about 15 of us from our ship went. This is astonishing given the historical importance of this place. We were happy to have water (it was pretty hot even in mid Oct) and... More

The temple of Appolo and Artemis. Ruins left from a.c. Museum and a caffe. Its pretty worth visiting it you also can do it all in 2 hours. 5 Euros entrance and I dont think you need a tourist guide as there's a path to be followed and stuff written by ruins.

Our guide was very good, easy to understand and made the entire experience come alive! It was awe inspiring to see ancient Greece that way!
