Wonderful trails throughout the penninsula should be seen, the grotto is just a highlight. Just mellow and realize the beauty that surrounds you. The shore is rocky so best to wear good walking or hiking shoes, certainly not flip flops.

Did the hike to the grotto. Was good and enjoyable. Might be a bit difficult for families or older people.

The park is a maze of beauty, fun, mistry, intrigue, trails and natures surprises. Look this way see a deer and her fawns prance by quickly on the trails , look that way and see rocky mountains and the beauty of the Grotto...look this way see the Bay with white sands and beautiful green blue crystal clear water. You can... More

The hike was longer than anticipated but well worth the effort. The Grotto was very interesting, quite the climb to get down to the bottom, but glad I made the climb. I would recommend taking the hike, the views alone are worth it, take your camera.

It is quite the hike to get to this spot but once you get there you will be glad you did. Have never swam the underwater tunnel(not sure if it goes right through)but it is still amazing to see. Water is very cold here, very clear too. Lots of caves other than this one, recommend you see them all.

Like the Caribbean of Canada:). Gorgeous (but cooolldd) water, amazing scenery, great white rocks. Water is very clean so even great for snorkeling. You can spot some smaller wrecks and great stone formations.

I love the beauty of the rock formations. Hiking to the Grotto in June was peaceful and quiet. There were no crowds as there sometimes are during the summer months. Although we didn't bring bathing suits the icy water was inviting and I put my feet in for awhile.

Spectacular setting with some fun wiggle-through chimneys for the more adventurous. Always packed on summer break weekends and usually full (no more parking, access denied) after 10 am on long weekends. Go early or go on a weekday, better yet, go in the fall or spring and enjoybiy all to yourself!

The Grotto is well worth the hour hike in. It's not a particularly hard hike - a bit long with kids but well worth the trip. The colour of the water feels like the carribean and the kids LOVED swimming through the underwater cave and playing in the water. Sure it was cold, Georgian Bay is always cold but you... More

It is a little difficult to find, because the cave is actually below the cliff. Had I not seen 2 people sitting and chatting down there, I had no idea I have to descend on the cliff to get to the cave. The other way would be to swim in from the beach, but that is not an option when... More
