These gardens are beautiful, with a traditional English garden layout and fountains and streams everywhere. Every part of the garden is interesting and unique, from the carefully tended shrub walls to the chapel, to the chateau to the upper reservoir where the water starts its downward descent. Come on a nice day and bring your camera!

These water-gardens are well worth a visit. Set in the beautiful Ardennes countryside, allow a good few hours to wander around the picturesque water gardens and to see the reflection of the chateau in the 'moat'. Probably not ideal for teenage children (unless they are interested in water gardens particularly - there is a small 'playground' for younger children. Visitors... More

This is a very pleasant garden to take a stroll in on a fine afternoon. the fountains are many and attractive, the vegetable garden interesting, but the statues are disappointing. I was pleased to see a party of school children being entertained by a guide in 18th century costume. There is a good cafe.

There are absolutely no signs on the roads leading to that attraction. Across the street there is large unpaved parking lot for which they expect you to pay in addition to admission. I asked the cashier why do they take additional money for parking and why don't they take additional money for restrooms in the garden, in order to emphasize... More

We went there for something different to do whilst cycling in the Ardennes and loved it. It's really one man's gadget - how to get the most out of water - but it's realisation is wonderful. The chateau 'floating' on the water knocks spots off anything in Venice

Majestic gardens : black swans, colorfoul flowers, little waterfalls... can't be any more cuter than that!

Plenty of photo opportunities in this great garden/park with some historic buildings inside. Now open all year round. For lunch before or after, consider the nearby Maredsous Abbey.
