It wasn't my first time to visit San Juanico Bridge but it was over 20 years ago that it first impressed me. It still does. Great view. You can't stop to take photos though. Head to the foot of the bridge on the Samar side, ask permission from the police and walk for a great shot.

Every Filipino knows about this bridge and they all get pogi points by saying they've seen it. It really is very nice. If you're in Tacloban you can take a Basey (that's in nearby Samar) jeepney and when you cross the bridge on the Samar side, yell "para!" and get out. Then you can walk back over the bridge to... One of the important attractions you should not miss is crossing the “the longest bridge in the Philippines spanning a body of seawater.” (wikipedia). It is more than 2 kilometers long. I say it is a little bit of a roller coaster. As passenger, you may opt to get out of your car/vehicle and just go to the sidewalk for... More

The view is simply amazing and breathtaking. Beautiful ocean view, in the Philippines longest bridge. We manage to stop by and walk a few mile to see the view first hand, its a very wonderful experience.

Many people even walk its entire length. A new restaurant just open on the north-east bluff overlooking the bridge. When you cross the... More
