My wife and I took the Molokini Snorkel and Dolphin Tour and until I got seasick as the water was very choppy that day it was a great experience. The highlights of the tour was having a family of bottlenose dolphins swim and play with the boat, Seeinng a family of sea turtles and Manta Ray breach the water. The... More

The guides were extremely knowledgeable about the dolphins found near Maui. We found a pod of spinner dolphins. They are a nonprofit and provide knowledge about Eco tourism and protecting the beautiful wildlife. We would choose them for any tour. More

Pacific Whale Foundation also has a location in Lahaina and has trips that leave from there. We took the Lana’i snorkel trip a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it. We went out into the bay, and got a quick sighting of a whale tail just before it dove below the surface (we were there at the end of whale... More

We did the Wild Side Molokini snorkeling tour, and a sunset dinner cruise with PWF, and both were worth it. Our snorkel boat had 16 people instead of 90+ on cheaper cruises. We set a record with Captain Ana for 5 unique stops due to calm seas and co-operative passengers. All gear, eco-friendly sunscreen, and natural defogger is provided, and... More

We went on the dolphin sight seeing and never saw a single dolphin! I was disappointed because that is why I went on the trip. The snorkeling was a lot.of fun! We saw a lot of coral and fish. Captain John Gave a quick lesson on snorkeling which was great since this was our first time. My husband has a... More

We loved our trip on the Pacific Whale Foundation. We went on the raft with 8 other people and it was great. The captain and tour guide were knowledgeable and just a great crew. We saw a mommy whale along with her baby and a escort. They were also traveling with dolphins. I would recommend this trip to anyone. Cost... More

I took the molokini trip, which starts at 7am, and returns at 12pm. We had two stops, one is molokini, and the other is turtle town. It is a really wonderful trip for me as I am the beginner for snorkeling. The staff are very nice, and the food is no bad. Molokini is a nice place for snorkeling, I... More

Whenever someone asks me which tour to take for whale watching, I always recommend Pacific Whale Foundation. Each boat has a naturalist, not a guide like you get on other tours. They are knowledgeable and informative. The Foundation is dedicated to whale research and the preservation of these magnificent mammals. If you want a great tour that takes you to... More

We went out on the 1145 tour in mid April -- seems this time can be hit or miss, but the whales were staying in Maui longer than usual. We were lucky to catch a "competition pod" -- which is 3-4 males trying to interest a female. There was much breaching, fin slapping, jostling and blowing and we got some... More
