Yes it may be a little bit on the expensive side but when you look at what this place is and you see the care the animals receive and also knowing that this place has saved many animals from stupid people who think they want an exotic pet and then decide ..."they can't cope. Then places like this give us a chance to get closer than you ever could. The staff i found are very passionate about the place and the animals and they have time to talk to you about the animals.   "This RSPB Nature Reserve is fantastic, plenty of parking if you need to drive there but we stayed at Ynyshir Hall Hotel and it is just a five minute walk away. The staff at the reception centre were very friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful. There are several different paths and walks. Yo..."u can choose wetland areas or woodland areas. There are several hides. We could have happily spent all day there. Unspoilt and beautiful and plentiful bird-life plus grey squirrels and other, native, small mammals if you are lucky enough to see them. BBC Spring watch will be there again soon. No cafe on site but you can get tea or coffee from the machine at reception and pre-packed cake or biscuits. Stunning place, totally unspoilt. " More >
