Isla Mujeres Museum Capitan Dulche. This Museum is dedicated in loving memory of Captain Ernesto Dulche Escalante, founder or the 5th Naval Region (Isla Mujeres). Captain Dulche´s Maritime Museum treasures a big part of Isla Mujeres history, this is documented in a great photo collection of over 150 that have never been seen before. The Museum also contains an excellent collection of anchors, buoys, chains and lanterns, maritime tools and two projection rooms, showing one video of the famous mexican diver Ramon Bravo and the even more famous Jacques Cousteau. It also has the largest collection of model ships and metates in the whole mexican caribbean.

Richart Sowa built Joysxee, the Floating Bottle Island by himself, with over 150,000 plastic bottles. Shown on MTV Extreme Cribs and Ripley's Believe It or Not, the island that floats on bottles is an ecological masterpiece. Everything on the island was built with recycled materials from the three story house, to the out door bar. Come tour Joysxee and meet the incredible Richie, a real life Robinson Crusoe. An experience you can only find on Isla Mujeres.

"located right next to the Garrafon park but this only costs 50 pesos to snorkel! You can also rent snorkel equipment, they have beach chairs and umbrellas to use, and a shower with bathrooms.
There were fish everywhere! As soon as you get int the water they were all around you! "
"The grounds are really pretty. They had a few parrots you could take pictures of and a neat little museum (50 pesos i think). We did not eat at the restaurant or visit the beach area but they both looked very nice."
"only 30 pesos to get in and you wont be disappointed! follow the paths and see the sculputres. beautiful scenery overlooking the high cliffs on the edge of the ocean. At the farthest southern point there are small ruins and a path that acually goes on the edge of the cliff and down to teh ocean. ..." We got great pictures along this path and made for a beautiful stroll!
