The best advice I wish someone had given me is to bring a flask of water (plastic bottles are not allowed in the site area). It is super hot, you are going to walk a lot and you NEED water. No-one sells water inside....The ruins are interesting but in my opinion nothing to do with other amazing sites such as Palenque, Uxmal or Chichén Itza. The only spectacular thing is the view of the turquoise sea from the outlook at the right side of the castillo. You have to exit first and then turn left and walk a lot to reach a first beach with lots of boats waiting for customers. There were lots of sargassum seaweed...Also there are two tickets as for other places but you don't buy them at the same place - one ticket office is at the beginning just after all the malls (yes, they built malls here....) and the other is further down the path before you enter the archaeological site. The parking is 150 pesos.

We drove to the entrance and got tickets at the gate. They were very helpful in navigating us through purchase options. Quite a hike if you don’t drive from gate. Did 3 cenotes in on afternoon… some of my favorites Jaguar had a fun zip line and jumping platform, Dos Ojos was beautiful snorkeling and Nicte-Ha had really cool little turtles to swim with 🐢❤️💕 Bring Pesos always the easiest.

I highly recommend Sac Actun. To get there, you will go down a long bumpy dirt road for 15-20 minutes. Following the same signs to Dos Ojos. They will have the road barricaded to funnel people to the Dos Ojos ticket booths. Just drive up to the gate and tell them you are going to Sac Actun and they will lift the gate, no problem.

We arrived around 2 p.m. and left at 445p. So it's 2-3 hour long visit. They wait 20 minutes to gather guests. No reservations are needed. $650 peso gives you a wet suit, life vest, and googles. No snorkel. The googles were on our heads except when we wanted to look at the stalagmites under water. They have waterproof phone pouches for sale if you need one. I had one, so I don't know the cost. Nice Banos, no lockers. Put everything in your car, and they keep the car keys in a box that has a security camera on it. It felt very safe

The water is refreshing. Wet suits are needed, and it's cold. I was a bit chilly by the time we got out. I would say we were in the water an hour. It is beautiful. It is not for the closterphobic. The guide Carlos was very informative. He has a strong flashlight to show the way.. He will use your camera to take pictures if you have one. He did a great job.

We loved everything about this trip. Sac Actun is the world's 3rd longest river system. Fresh water!

What a beautiful experience, quite unique. We emerged peaceful and curious. I’d so love to share this with my family and friends.
We found the music a powerful art source that touched us deeply as we went around.
    Thank you

A quiet beach spot, great for relaxing and just walking along the beaches. There is a spot where the coconut tree is leaning down where you can have a great photo shot.

Only Accept Pesos or Cash. Price was higher than advertised. $30 USD No ATM. Lockers and Goggles available. Nice bathrooms inside. Staff at entrance didn't speak English. Not friendly.
My first experience at a Cenote so I can't compare it to others. It is much like the pictures advertise. Several entry points to the Cenote so you can spread out. Water is chilly this time of year but I found it to be refreshing. You also have to take a cold shower before entering to help preserve the ecosystem.
Water is clear and beautiful. Turtles, small fish, and bats. Definitely recommend. Relaxing.

Ivan was an amazing server and we had a great day relaxing at Ziggy Beach. Drinks and food were the best we’ve had in Tulum. 100% recommend coming here!

We visited punta laguna as part of a stop off on an organised day tour. We arranged to see the spider monkeys with a local tour guide at the reserve. He walked us round showing us the monkeys and told us all about the reserve and the history of it within the local mayan community. My eldest son is really interested in jungle wildlife and our guide answered all his questions about crocodiles, pumas and jaguars. He was so good with him: If we visit Mexico again we would like to do a full day/night tour here as there is lots on offer-howler monkeys, jungle trek, zip line, canoe. The whole area had such a lovely feel to it, it was our favourite part of the tour and we wish we had stayed longer than just the monkey tour.

Great relaxing experience. We spent a couple of hours just swimming and taking some nice pictures. You cannot apply sunscreen on site so be careful about sunburn. There are no dinning options, just some sodas, beer and coconuts.

The park is very cute, clean. I will recommended. You can swim and take cute pictures. The lockers you can rent them and they give you the $5 back when you return the key. So make sure you have change. The staff is friendly and helpful.

It is a very good place to start your diving cenotes journey due to the easy access and easy dive. Not much depth at all but few interesting bits to make it worthwhile. Halocline effect was quite strong, fish and the crocodile which unfortunately we did not see. Nice structures and swim throughs but quite easy so it is a great place to start diving in caverns and structures above you.
The place itself has no real infrastructure around it so you basically get in and get out.
Good for snorkelling as well if you have snorkelers with you.
