Get up close and personal with some of the most amazing creatures on the planet... RAPTORS!! This unique tourist attraction is home to all types of BIRDS OF PREY including several hawk species, bald and golden eagles, several types of owls, peregrine and hybrid falcons and even turkey vultures! Open 7 days a week 11:00 a.m. - 4:30 pm from mid March until October 31st. Flying Demonstrations daily at 1:30pm plus an additional flying demo daily at 3:30 pm from the May long weekend until the September Labour Day Weekend. See many raptors on display then watching a thrilling flying demonstration where anything can happen because these birds fly free! Take a Hawk Walk or Owl Prowl in the woods prior to or after and of the flight demonstations and experience the thrill of a raptor landing on YOUR GLOVE. Browse the gift shop where you can buy anything raptor related from in-depth falconry books to cute little stuffies and snacks. The Raptors also offers a variety of educational falconry courses and summer kids camp. Please check our website for details. Located in Duncan in the beautiful Cowichan Valley just 4k off the main island highway (see the map) 90 minutes north of Victoria and 60 minutes south of Nanaimo by car. Any trip to Vancouver Island would not be complete without this experience.
