Salt Spring Island Attractions: Places to Visit in Salt Spring Island
"Salt Spring Island is a wonderful place and our guide, Ryan Foster, was a professional.
• The landscape: absolutely breathtaking. All my life I’ll wish to return there.
• The guide: Ryan Foster is the owner of this company, with his partner, Jacqueline.
- He is trustworthy and professional:..." I was in Victoria for a conference and just decided to take the tour with a friend. Two girls on an island with an unknown man. Ryan was a professional guide and took us back safely.
- No need to take the bus to downtown: He came for us at the residence where we were staying, then brought me back to the same place and dropped my friend at the airport, where she needed to be.
- He is easygoing: he adapted the tour to what we wanted to see and had patience with us when we were taking a lot of pictures ☺.
- You could see the passion for this island in his eyes. He is finishing his PhD in Economy and is committed to promote Salt Spring Island.
• The studios: it’s interesting to see ...

"This tour was the absolute highlight of my trip to Victoria BC. Let me begin by saying that it would have been impossible to see Salt Spring Island as exhaustively or cheaply without this tour. In my opinion it is underpriced - it is well worth the money! Ryan was the most cheerful, knowledgeable...", and articulate guide I have ever had the pleasure to know. He entertained us, shared his experiences, and ensured everyone's comfort and safety. He adapted the day to fit our diverse group's needs. Everyone was happy, even though there were different interests and paces among us. We learned so much about the fascinating local politics and way of life on the island. I felt safe and cared for, and it was wonderful to share in the passion that Ryan has for the island. Mount Maxwell was absolutely stunning. I wanted to move to this island to live! It felt amazing being in that place, and I would love to go back. Definitely recommend this tour.

"There are a number of artists, specialty products and venues all over the island. And most of them gather at the market on Sat in Ganges to show off their products and talents. The number of vendors selling tasty treats and yummy meals is very tempting. Also a large number of woodworking crafts, ..."jewelry and textiles. I was extremely impressed by Bob McKay's woodworking. There is plenty here to tempt your taste buds and your wallet.
