"This is a great little village. It has many interesting boutiques, shops and restaurants. There is also an old Cannery museum. Take a walk down to the pier and buy your fish fresh from the dock or stop and have fish and chips to eat. Grab a seat or table outside. It is usually easy to find free..." parking on the street for 3 hours. After 6:00 PM street parking is free.

"We set out on an overcast Thursday with lowish expectations because of the weather. We were picked up by the Harbour by the driver Levi who was so patient, knowledgeable and very charming. In Richmond we set out on the boat to travel North on a sighting and Andy our guide began to give us wonderful..." information about the Orcas we were hoping to see. Then she got very excited as there was a sighting of two pods heading into Vancouver Harbour. Our excellent driver then turned and shot off in search of the whales. We had the most fabulous afternoon following two groups of Orcas into the Harbour. Apparently this is quite rare so everybody was excited. But the driver was persistent and Andy was such a great informed guide. Highly recommended.

"It is a pleasant spot. We toured shops. We also set on the water and viewed the ships as they passed by the harbor. The shop keepers were friendly. We spent time a the local bakery. We also shopped a local grocery for snacks and prescription items. The locals were friendly and helpful. Local ..."bus makes travel around time very easy. It is a nice way to spend an afternoon.
