  "Wow, we were quite impressed. Quite a little ways of the main road, we were wondering if it would be worth going. After we parked the car we saw two couples walking to their cars with one or two boxes of wine, and I was surprised. But once we got inside we could start to see why, the owners were ..."busy pouring wine for about 10 other people crammed at the small tasting counter. They let us try whichever wines we wanted, and we were really impressed! Mostly German style wines, but also some lesser known wines like Siegerrebe and Marechal Foch which are both delicious, plus several German varietals, though mostly dry, such as Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Ortega, and Lemberger. Apparently this is the highest altitude producing winery in North America, and the wine styles reflect that, but we tried several wines and all of them were quite good, plus they were affordable, most $15-17.
