  "We were travelling along the road to Hope & turned off to take photos. It was the place where they had an enormous landside, (it looked as if the side of the mountain just came off) which killed 4 people & obliterated the main road. (we were on the new road that replaced it!)"

  "We stopped off here on our way from Vancouver to the Okanagan Valley & had a walk to stretch our legs. We got directions from the Tourist Information place in Hope (excellent little local museum in the back, no charge). You walk along the track of the disused Kettle Valley Railway, alongside a canyo..."n with a raging torrent of river down below, & through tunnels with immensely high roofs that they had to cut through the mountains. Amazing & very scenic. Highly recommended. The floors of the tunnels can be a little wet - take a torch to avoid the puddles! " More >
